Glaucoma is an eye disorder that damages the optic nerve that carries information from the eye to the brain.
It typically relates to high pressure built up inside the eye , commonly know as Ocular Hypertension.
When the optic nerve is damaged, there is no communication between the eye and the brain resulting in glaucoma.
Unfortunately, most people notice glaucoma signs and Symptoms when the disease has progressed and they have irreversible vision loss and may suffer with permanent blindness. The first stage of glaucoma are critical to keep an eye out for.
